SpiceJet has been ordered by the Delhi High Court to return a leased engine to Belgium-based Engine Lease Finance BV by March 10, 2024. Inspections on the engine will be conducted by both parties individually on or before February 26, 2024. SpiceJet’s senior defendant attorney told the court that SpiceJet received the required guaranteed remittance waiver (GRW) from the concerned bank and has applied for customs clearance for transporting the aircraft engine to Brussels, Belgium.
