ORIX Aviation has announced the “100% acquisition” of 14 aircraft from Merx Aviation. The 14 narrowbodies were previously held in a joint venture (JV) between the two companies. Spread among 10 lessees in various continents, the aircraft were valued “at over $300 million”, ORIX said. “We are delighted to have taken this opportunity to acquire the remaining 50% of an attractive aircraft portfolio.
