Airbus widebody wet lease specialist and charter operator Hi Fly has put its two newly acquired A330-200s ‘through their paces’ prior to the aircraft’s entry into service. The two models – bearing Maltese registrations 9H-HFK and 9H-HFJ – underwent the contractually mandatory flight test procedure upon arrival in Portugal, something Hi Fly has the capacity and expertise to perform in-house. “We have specific protocols to follow and execute, ticking off items on customary checklists,” explained Carlos Mirpuri, vice chairman of the Hi Fly Group and Commander of the multi-mission flight testing.
