GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has completed a purchase-and-leaseback transaction with a new customer, PT Batik Air Indonesia, for four new Airbus A320 aircraft. GECAS delivered the first aircraft earlier this month. The remaining three aircraft will deliver throughout the rest of 2015. All aircraft are to expand the airline’s fleet. Batik Air, a subsidiary of Lion Group, currently operates a fleet of more than 25 aircraft to a dozen destinations in Indonesia.
