CALC to construct aircraft disassembly centre in Harbin

China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Harbin municipal government to undertake an aircraft disassembly project in northern China. The Chinese aircraft disassembly center (CADC) will be one of the largest in the world. CALC will offer a total investment of US$2 billion or HK$15.6 (including costs of buying used aircraft) for the aircraft disassembly operation; while the local government had agreed to grant land use rights to the company for the purpose of developing the project.
