Norwegian Air Shuttle said it will delay ordering more Boeing 787s until US regulators back its plans to register in Ireland. This news affects a follow-on order for as many as 20 787s, in addition to 17 due to be delivered by 2018, Chief Executive Officer Bjoern Kjos said. Kjos stated he expects a UK air operator certificate, offering access to countries such as India and South Africa not covered by European Union accords, to be approved within the coming months. The airline will also be launching a Paris to North America service soon.
