BOC Aviation has selected GE Aviation’s CF6-80E1 engines to power two new Airbus A330-300 aircraft, to be delivered in 2017. The two aircraft have been placed on long-term lease with EVA Airways Corporation. “Our choice of GE Aviation’s CF6 engines demonstrates our confidence in the reliability and proven strong operational performance of the engine,” said Robert Martin, managing director and chief executive officer of BOC Aviation. “We have purchased more than 340 engines from GE Aviation and its joint ventures, and we look forward to continue building on this enduring partnership with them to meet the needs of our customers.”
