Chinese aircraft leasing company BOC Aviation has ordered 20 C919 aircraft from the Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC). “With a global reach and long-term commitment to the industry, BOC Aviation is confident we can help COMAC open markets for the C919 first in China and then globally,” said BOC Aviation Managing Director and Chief Executive Robert Martin. BOC Aviation is a subsidiary of the Bank of China which has a 50 billion yuan ($7.94 billion) cooperation agreement with COMAC that was signed in June 2011.
