AerCap announced on April 6 that it had leased, bought and sold 252 assets during the first quarter of 2023 (Q1 2023) while signing financing transactions for approximately $6.7bn. Among the deals were 155 lease agreements, including for 18 widebody aircraft, 58 narrowbody aircraft, 55 engines and 24 helicopters. The Dublin-based lessor said it completed 56 purchases, including for 15 aircraft, including 11 Airbus A320neos and one each of the Airbus A220, Boeing 737 MAX,  Boeing 787-9 and Embraer E195-E2 airplanes.
