Dublin-based leasing business AerCap on March 13 announced the completion of a secondary public offering of 23 million of its ordinary shares by seller GE Capital US Holdings, part of General Electric Company. The price to the public was $58.50 per ordinary share, with GE granting the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 3.45 million ordinary shares. AerCap, which said it will not receive any proceeds from the offering, added that it had completed its previously announced repurchase of 8,788,890 of its ordinary shares for $500 million.
