Regional aircraft leasing company Abelo has acquired for ATR 72-600 aircraft through SKY Leasing, expanding its portfolio to a total of 57 owned and managed aircraft. All four ATRs are currently on lease to India’s low-cost carrier IndiGo. “We are thrilled to welcome IndiGo as a new partner, marking a significant milestone for Abelo as we continue to strengthen our portfolio and broaden our customer base,” said Abelo CEO Stephen Gorman. Abelo adds that the ATR 72-600 ‘is renowned for its efficiency and reduced environmental impact, aligning with Abelo’s vision for a greener future in aviation’.
