BayernLB’s Sector Aviation & Space recently acted as joint lead arranger in a US$ 255m non-recourse acquisition facility to Azorra. The financing facility is a club deal with Citi and Fifth Third Bank, financing 10 new Airbus A220-300 and Embraer E2 aircraft. “We are very pleased to be able to further support our existing client, Azorra, in their continued growth as a leading global lessor and servicer” states Oliver Geldner, Sector Head Aviation & Space. “The purpose of the financing facility is to provide Azorra with a tailored solution for building their portfolio through new deliveries from Airbus and Embraer.
