DHL Global Forwarding teams up with IAG Cargo to promote SAF

DHL Global Forwarding has teamed up with IAG Cargo in a strategic partnership to promote sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). This collaboration aligns with Deutsche Post DHL Group’s sustainability objectives of achieving net-zero emissions logistics by 2050. DHL Global Forwarding has committed to purchasing 3 million gallons of SAF Scope 3 transport emissions reductions in 2023. The SAF, certified by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC), is derived from used cooking oil and food waste. IAG Cargo, as part of its environmental strategy, has pledged that 10% of its flights will be fueled by SAF by 2030. The partnership with DHL Global Forwarding is
