EVA Airways disclosed in a stock exchange filing that it has agreed the purchase of 18 A350-1000s and 15 A321neo aircraft. The filing states that each A350-1000 aircraft will not exceed US$436 million and that each A321neo aircraft will not exceed US$150 million, for a total transaction price below $10.1bn. Meanwhile, BOC Aviation (Ireland) has revealed that it has received a cash payment of approximately US$208 million under an insurance settlement with LLC “Insurance Company NSK” (NSK), a Russian insurance company, in respect of eight aircraft detained in Russia that were formerly leased to Pobeda Airlines.
