Boeing looks set to sell $5.5 billion of bonds to help finance its joint venture with Brazil-based Embraer. The two companies will look touse the funding to build smaller commercial planes together. According to a recent filing, the airplane manufacturer is selling senior unsecured bonds in six parts. The news of the bond sale comes hot on the heels of Boeing announcing that it will consider slowing or even temporarily halting production of the 737 Max.
