Rwanda Air has taken delivery of its first dedicated cargo aircraft, Boeing 737-800, as the airline firms up plans to expand its fleet. The aircraft will be based in the Kigali hub. Calling this delivery a huge milestone in fleet expansion plans for Rwanda Air, CEO Yvonne Makolo, said: “Cargo is of ever-increasing importance for the aviation industry, and as a landlocked country, we recognise the importance and value of good cargo connections.
