IATA announces first signatories to digital charter

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has launched its new IATA Digitalisation Leadership Charter at the World Cargo Symposium in Hong Hong, with the inaugural signatories already added. Cathay Cargo, CHAMP Cargosystems, Global Logistics System (HK) Company Limited, IAG Cargo, IBS Software, LATAM Cargo, and Lufthansa Cargo are initial participants to the programme, which aims to accelerate the air cargo’s digitisation through five ‘key guiding principles’. “Digitalization is imperative for the air cargo industry.
