Cargolux reports record revenue for 2022

Cargolux Group reported record $5.1bn revenue in 2022 and profit of $1.6bn, a 21&% increase compared to the year before. Cargolux said that “strong yields and high volumes” during H1 2022 were key to the company’s strong financial performance, which saw revenue up over 14%,  ahead of a decline in demand in the latter part of the year as cargo transport patterns reverted to pre-pandemic norms. At the end of December 2022, Cargolux’s fleet was made up of 16 Boeing 747-400 freighters and 13 747-8 freighters.
