Russia’s AirBridgeCargo has reported a 16% increase in cargo volume carried during H1 2014. The Volga-Dnepr Group member carried 188,354 tonnes on international services during the period, while load factors reached 72%. AirBridge stated that the improved results were due to network growth. In the US, the carrier launched flights to Dallas/Fort Worth and increased the number of flights to Chicago. In Europe, the airline started service to Leipzig, Munich and Malme. It also launched flights from Frankfurt to Chicago following the approval of fifth freedom flights from Frankfurt to the US. The airline also reported 13% growth during H1
