Wizz Air will move its flights from Bucharest’s Baneasa Airport to Otopeni Airport on March 25, 2012 after the Romanian government demanded the same. After this date, the price of tickets for the airline’s flights will double and even triple. Wizz Air representatives announced that the prices will go up by about 4 %, but, on some destinations, the ticket prices will be brought into line with the state airline Tarom. Baneasa airport will become a city airport for VIP flights until 2015.
