Wizz Air passenger numbers reached 60.3 million in 2023, a record high for the low-cost Hungarian carrier, representing a 32% increase compared to 2022. Rising passenger numbers were helped by a 23% increase in capacity for the airline, which introduced over 10 new routes from the UK. Flights to and from the UK totalled over 59,000, 11% more than in 2022. Overall, Wizz Air launched nearly a hundred new routes.
