Low-cost airline Wizz Air has raised its full-year capacity growth rate from 16% to 20% after a strong start to its financial year. The airline posted a record net profit of €72.4 million, a rise of 42%, in its first-quarter financial results. The rise in first-quarter profit comes despite higher fuel prices as the airline also posted a 25.4% increase in revenue to €691 million. The number of passengers carried for the quarter was up 20.1% to 10.4 million in the first quarter.
