Wingo, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings is planning to launch a new ultra-low-cost airline branch named Wingo Panama, to enhance domestic connectivity within Panama and encourage tourism. The airline has already secured its Air Operators Certificate and is poised for official launch on August 11, 2023 between Balboa Panama Pacífico International Airport (BLB) and David International Airport (DAV) with twice weekly frequency.
