WDL Aviation, part of German Airways, has said it will exclusively use the modern Embraer E190 jet in the future. The airline’s fleet currently consists of three Embraer aircraft; two further jets of this type have also been ordered. The Cologne-based airline had purchased its first Embraer E190 aircraft in November 2018. The jets have been phased in since March 2019. WDL was previously equipped with three Embraer E190s and three BAe 146-200s, but the BAe aircraft was recently sold to an Australian investor. German Airways plans to phase out them by the end of 2019. Dominik Wiehage, managing director
