Vietjet is celebrating the inaugural flight of its brand new service between Ho Chi Minh City and Shanghai, which it hopes will facilitate ‘convenient and easy travel needs of both residents and tourists’. The carrier has operated services between Vietnam and China since 2014 with the first tourist routes serving Vietnamese destinations of Nha Trang, Da Nang and Phu Quoq. The new service will operate one flight daily in both directions, and exclusive promotional offers to celebrate the new route (bookable between 6 and 12 December) will be valid on certain flights from January to October 2024.
