Following a comment by auditors Ernst & Young in the notes to UTair Group’s  consolidated financial statements for 2018 that the carrier may halt operations due to debt, Pavel Permyakov, president of the UTair group, told Russian news outlet that all flights will take place on schedule. He clarified that because the airline was not able to restructure its debt by December 2018, the financial results were adversely impacted, however he stressed that it has not and will not affect current operations and that scheduled flights are uninterrupted. He further commented that a change to the scheduled payments in 2019
