United Airlines has provided an update regarding its financial outlook for second quarter 2022. The airline notes that the demand environment has continued to improve, resulting in a higher unit revenue outlook for the second quarter 2022. The price of oil has also continued to increase, resulting in a higher expected fuel price for the second quarter 2022. United Airlines is trimming its second quarter capacity, which will lead to  higher unit revenue and non-fuel unit costs. Nevertheless United is maintaining its forecast for a second quarter adjusted EBIT margin of ~10%.
