Transaero reports H1 results

Russia’s Transaero Airlines has unveiled its operational and financial results for the first six months of 2014. The number of passengers carried increased by 4.8% to 5.75 million, with up to 44.6% growth registered on some domestic routes, and load factors of 82.8%. Transaero also reported an increase in cargo traffic by 7.1% compared to the same period last year, and exceeded 31,000 tonnes. Total revenue from all operations for the first six months of 2014 was RUB48.8bn ($1.39bn) – an increase of 1.1% year-on-year, Traffic revenue increased by 6.5%.
