Tiger Airways Australia is celebrating new services between Sydney and Cairns commencing from today. The airline’s inaugural service from Sydney will touch down at Cairns Airport at around 9am local time. Tiger Airways has already indicated strong consumer support for the popular destination by announcing the current four-weekly return services between Sydney and Cairns will increase to seven (or one daily return service) by June 2013, delivering up to 2520 additional visitor seats through Cairns Airport weekly.
