Turkish Airlines aims to double its African destinations by 2013, according to CEO Temel Kotil. He says that by the end of the year, the carrier aims to increase its African destinations from 20 to 30 and to 40 routes by 2013. These routes will be serves using mainly 737-800s and -900ERs. The airline is considering more aircraft purchases to help serve its expansion plans.
