Thai VietJet is planning to phase out all of its remaining Airbus aircraft and operate an all-Boeing fleet by 2024, sources claim. The airline currently has 12 A320-200s and six A321-200s, all leased from VietJet Air by 2024. Thai VietJetAir will start receiving its first of 50 orders of Boeing B737-8 between mid-2023 to 2027. As it progressively receives the Boeing orders, the airline will return its Airbus aircraft to VietJet Air. The airline also plans to ramp up its international capacity and shift focus from domestic to long-haul routes covering Indo-China followed by South-east Asia in the future. The
