Thai Airways has celebrated its inaugural flight to iGA Istanbul Airport, the 99th airline to be hosted at the international Turkish airport. The Thai flag carrier will operate its daily direct flights, using a A350-900, from its base at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport. “With Thai Airways joining us, we expect our global transfer hub to receive more passengers from Thailand, South Asia, and Australia, boosting tourism in Türkiye,” noted Selahattin Bilgen, CEO iGA Istanbul Airport.
