TAP Air Portugal carries 15.2% more passengers in 2023

TAP Air Portugal carried a total of 15.9 million passengers in 2023, a 2.1 million increase from the previous year, equivalent to 15.2%. On routes between UK and Portugal, TAP saw a 5.7% increase to 970,000 passengers. TAP’s overall load factor rose to 80.8% in 2023, 0.7% points higher than pre-pandemic levels. On flights to the United States and Canada, TAP carried 1.46 million passengers, 18.4% more than in 2022 and 39.5% more than in 2019.
