Tajik Air, Tajikistan airline is planning to resume commercial operations after almost four years. The airline had suspended its operations in 2019 due to financial and technical problems. Parviz Shodmonzoda, Director General, Tajik Air said: “We have already submitted our proposals to the Supervisory Board, and we are waiting for its approval, after which we plan to start flights. In December 2022, we reached an agreement to lease two A319 aircraft with a layout of 320 seats and an A321 aircraft with 220 seats, produced in 2011.” Tajik Air currently owns one Boeing 757-200 with a registration EY-751.
