Swissport has signed a deal to provide passenger services and ramp handling in Sofia for three Lufthansa Group airlines. The deal covers Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines operations at Sofia International Airport where Swissport has since 20120 been doing lounge hospitality for Lufthansa Group. “Our successful cooperation with Lufthansa Group in Bulgaria goes back for over ten years. We are thrilled to be a partner of choice and provide a complete range of services at Sofia International Airport,” says Miroslav Petkov, managing director Swissport Bulgaria. Swissport in Bulgaria served over 1.5 million passengers in Bulgaria in 2022,
