Southwest Airlines will commence four different new services from Orlando International Airport (MCO) this summer. All four routes are seasonal and will be operated on Boeing 737NG and 737 MAX jets. Starting July 15, the airline commenced flights to Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), and Long Beach Airport (LGB). All three of these routes will only be operated on Saturdays during the summer travel season. The fourth route will connect Orlando to El Paso International Airport (ELP) and will operate on Saturdays starting September 9, 2023. The airline is expected to face competition from Frontier Airlines and Allegiant Air
