South African Airways (SAA) has launched a new codeshare partnership with Africa World Airlines (AWA), effective 27 October. The codeshare agreement will apply between the destinations of Ghana’s Accra (ACC) – Kumasi (KMS), Accra – Nigeria’s Lagos (LOS) and Accra to Nigeria’s Abuja (ABV). SAA and AWA currently have an interline agreement established in 2018 and there are more destinations being planned in the near future subject to necessary approvals, the airline said.
