From March next year Singapore Airlines plans to use the Airbus A380 instead of a 747-400 on its profitable Singapore-Japan-US routes. Flights SQ11 and SQ12 will be the first SIA transpacific A380 services. At the same time the airline stated that it is to deploy an A380 on its Singapore LAX route.
