Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) carried 1.4 million passengers in January 2022, a near-90% jump compared to the same period in 2021. Passenger demand “continued to be strong”, the carrier said, increasing by 68% as capacity increased by 22% compared to the same period last year. SAS gave a “flown load factor” for the month of 68%. “January traffic came in at 1.4 million passengers, an 89 percent increase compared to January 2022.
