SAA suspends Hong Kong services to curb ‘significant’ losses due to protests

South African Airways (SAA) has suspended all services between Johannesburg and Hong Kong from 23 November until 15 December, in a bid to ensure it minimises financial losses. This decision has been taken to curb significant financial losses incurred on the route, exacerbated recently by the ongoing political tensions in Hong Kong.
