S7 AIRLINES JOINS ONEWORLD ALLIANCE

Russian domestic carrier S7 Airlines has officially joined the Oneworld alliance. Its subsidiary Globus has become an affiliate member. The Russian airlines now benefit from the full range of services of the alliance, which already includes some of the premier airlines in world: American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN Airlines, Malev Hungarian Airlines, Mexicana, Qantas and Royal Jordanian and 20 affiliated airlines. S7 and Globus add 55 destinations in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States to the oneworld schedule, plus nine countries, in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
