Ryanair has launched a seat sale to mark flying ten million passengers to and from Knock Airport. The ten millionth Ryanair passenger departed for Lanzarote on a May 23 flight. “Our popular Lanzarote route [is] just one of the 16 routes we are operating as part of our biggest ever schedule this summer,” said Jade Kirwan, the airline’s head of communications. Ryanair had earlier announced  its “biggest ever schedule” at the airport, with over 120 weekly flights across 16 routes.  Rival Irish carrier Aer Lingus recently stopped flying a Knock-London Gatwick route, replacing the UK destination with London Heathrow.
