In August 2023, Ryanair carried 16.9 million passengers – an increase of 11% over the same month in 2022. The airline’s August load factor was 96%. Ryanair operated over 103,000 flights in August 2023, however the airline confirmed that over 350 flights (63,000 pax) were cancelled on 28th/29th Aug due to NATS ATC computer failure, which Ryanair complained had still not been explained.
