A UK newspaper has suggested that Ryanair is interested in using RAF Leuchars in Fife as a new Scottish airport. RAF Leuchars is in line to be closed by the UK Ministry of Defence although no final decision has been made. Ryanair has not confirmed it is interested in the site but stated that a second Scottish hub is a possibility.
