Ryanair announced on December 20 it agreed a four-year pay deal granting its Irish pilots “an accelerated restoration” of pay cuts that were put in place in the wake of the Covid pandemic. The agreement, which was based on discussions in mid-December between the airline and the pilots’ union, will see the pay cuts “fully restored” in the next payroll and will take in three years’ worth of pay increases spread over the period up to March 2027.
