Qatar Airways is planning to hire 10,000 employees to handle the passenger traffic in Doha during the FIFA World Cup in November 2022. According to Reuters, the airline has started a recruitment drive to increase the employee strength to 55,000 from the current 45,000. The recruitment drives were held in the Philippines, India, and other countries towards September end, as per the airline. “Qatar Airways is on a growth trajectory following COVID and with World Cup preparations in full swing it is ramping up recruitment across the airline,” the airline said in a statement.
