Qantas’ regional subsidiary QantasLink has begun its first A220 commercial operations on March 1, 2024 with its two new A220 aircraft. The airline will take delivery of a further 27 A220 aircraft, which will gradually replace its 717 fleet as part of Qantas’ domestic fleet renewal program. “These next-generation aircraft are going to make a real difference for customers travelling across our network so it’s great to see it launch commercial flights from today,” said QantasLink CEO Rachel Yangoyan.
