Icelandic low-cost carrier PLAY has added a “value bundles” feature to its booking system in a move it said would “help passengers pay less and play more”. The airline said passengers could save up to 40% by using the bundles instead of adding baggage and seats after paying for tickets. The offerings are similar to those provided by big budget carriers operating out of the UK, such as easyJet and Ryanair, and are “ideal for money savvy Brit[s]”, who, according to PLAY, made up almost a third of visitors to Iceland in January.
