Pegasus asks managing director Nane to chair board

Turkey’s Pegasus Airlines is to get a new chair. “Mehmet T Nane, vice-chairperson of the board of directors and managing director of Pegasus Airlines, has been appointed chairperson of the board of directors,” the carrier announced on March 31. Nane, who joined the airline in 2016, will succeed Ali Sabanci, who will remain a board member. Nane was chief executive for six years until 2022 and is a prominent member of boards and committees in the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
