The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating an incident involving a Southwest Airlines aircraft, which narrowly missed hitting a smaller jet on the runway. The Southwest aircraft has just landed at Chicago’s Midway Airport last month and was preparing to cross a runway when the co-pilot yelled at the pilot to stop to avoid hitting a Learjet that was taking off.
